Re Generation Re

The name: GenerationRe – ReGeneration   

​

The act of creating, like it is based in its root (Latin genus, generis) is related with birth and in its abstract form with the origin.

Regeneration with its pre-syllable “re” means a return to an earlier state, to an origin. Its return includes a radical renovation, a renaissance.

The regeneration how we understand it, leads to a new attitude regarding the world, based on a higher consciousness like living beings and thinkers about the active role we have to improve the place where we live.

The GenerationRe represents a generation:

That believes in the possibility of renovation;
That wants to re-start and create new opportunities for themselves and others;
That reflects on its own actions, knowing that any act against nature is like an act against themselves;
That rejects injustice;
That wants to admire again the compromised landscapes, believing that the beauty is the principal of everything (the world, after creation, was perfect);
That wants to awake again and find faith and hope;
That wants to dream again, but at the same time is able to refuse preconceived ideas, being always confident in its ideals and defend them;
That is capable to distinguish the good from the bad and always search for the truth;
That wants to re-start and construct a better future, investing in its own capacities;
That wants to reconcile with life, able to start a new one;
That wants to remember in order not to forget;
That wants to reflect, knowing that the fact cogito ergo sum isn’t condition enough to say that I exist;
That wants to awake of the lethargy and learn to live again;
Finally, who wants to regenerate!

The GenerationRe recognises itself in our project and wants to use the scarves as a symbol, almost like a flag, to identify with it.
