Philosophy
In the last years, out of personal choices, casual circumstances and external influences (books and friends), we have come to heed in direction of a new consciousness of ourselves and the world in which we are living.
The summary of our learning and experiences until today can be resumed in a simple but powerful concept with enormous potentiality of transformation: to live in harmony with the universe and try to definite ourselves in it.
This concept, which has been explored by religious doctrines and philosophic systems, needs today, due to the alterations of the world, a renaissance.
To live in harmony with the universe means in the first place to live in harmony with ourselves, guided by our deepest aspirations and at the same time following the progress of the world.
Deepak Chopra cites in his book (The spontaneous Fulfilment of desire, 2003) the ancient Vedic written, known as the Upanishads:
“You will be what your deepest wish is. Your deepest wish will be your intention. Your intention will be your desire. Your desire will be your action. Your action will be your destiny.”
The intention, like Chopra explains, creates infinite possibilities, but the intention (which is the destiny in potency) will materializa only, if it serves both the person and the higher purpose, which Chopra calls the non-local mind, the common good.
It seems, that a new thinking and continue growing is happening in the world, leading the people to a consciousness, that the intense exploration of resources, persons and animals will lead to a point of no return, while like never before in our time, this exploration increased so massively.
It is time to invert the route and revaluate the method of growing which continues to perpetuate.
It is necessary to realise the importance of the common value.
Like somebody said, “the flapping of a butterflies´ wings in one corner of the world, can provoke a hurricane in the other”.
We need a renaissance of the economic system in which we live. We need a new form of capitalism, where the final goal is not the accumulation of capital, but the accumulation of capital and his redistribution to guarantee the improvement of the common conditions.
The economist Carlo Maria Cipolla (Allegro ma non troppo - le leggi fondamentali della stupiditá umana, 1988) defines “intelligent” those, who with the proper action tend to create advantage for themselves and at the same time advantage for the others. And he defines as “stupid” those, who provoke damage on others without creating an advantage for themselves or even suffer a loss.
With our project, we want to be part of Cipolla’s “intelligent” people, turning our project into an activity which is able to improve our own conditions of life and that of the major number of persons.
How can we do that?
By donating a part of the revenue to projects and organisations which tend to improve the living in the world (for a better world!)
Not using of materials which pollute (plastics).
(In the future, we want to use biological fabrics and fair trade production.) ??
Finally, we believe in our dreams and the infinite capacity of the universe to turn them real but we believe also, that the dreams and desires and the intuition which originates them, will come true only when they manifest in the intelligent way. This means that the manifestation leads to our personal satisfaction and at the same time creates an added value for the others.
“You will be what your deepest wish is.
Your deepest wish will be your intention.
Your intention will be your desire.
Your desire will be your action.
Your action will be your destiny.”
Upanishads
Intelligent people: those, who with the proper action tend to create advantage for themselves and at the same time advantage for the others.
