We are a couple. Sabine is German, Carlo is Italian and we have met in Portugal, where we live.​

Sabine is a homoeopath for animals, Carlo is an architect. We don’t have any children yet, but we do own a very smart dog named Ciccio.

​Carlo always had a passion for scarves.

Probably, just like the blanket from Linus (the famous comic The Peanuts, from Charles M. Schulz), the scarves have been a kind of ´security´ for him, something to roll himself in to feel protected.

Sabine has been working for several years in the textile market.

The idea to produce scarves happened by occasion, after a comment of a friend regarding a photo montage of Carlo (photography 1) wearing a scarf on a tropical island.

This comment lead to the idea of how to further proceed: to turn his passion for scarves into a professional activity.

This idea in fact was the result of an earlier search to start an activity with a minimum capital (without a bank loan) and a simple but workable idea easy to accomplish.

The scarf itself is a basic piece of garment but has infinite possibilities of transformation (in terms of forms, materials, textures and design) and represents an important complement for the personal outfit/style.

Sabine, with her experience and contacts has been a great help to make the idea come true.

And Ciccio, with his ever lasting wellbeing and happiness (dogs have the great ability to live always in the present, without the need of remembering the past or worrying about the future) has helped to keep our humour and manage the difficulties which appear naturally on the way.
